The 8-seater cable car Chleb is named after the nearby Chleb hill (1.645 m above sea level), which is the third highest hill of the Krivánská Mala Fatra (Krivanská Mala Fatra). The cable car will take you to the top station at 1,494 m above sea level, just below the Snilovská saddle, thus overcoming 750 metres of altitude. The cable car ride itself is an experience for many, the journey takes about 8 minutes one way.

Snilovské sedlo (1.524 m above sea level) is an ideal starting point for hikes of various difficulties, for example, also to the already mentioned Chleb hill, which is suitable as an easy hike even for smaller children, if you are just starting with hiking. Or in the opposite direction to Veľký Kriváň (1,708 m), which is the highest peak of the Little Fatra. More tips for ridge hikes in Vrátna and its surroundings can also be found here on our website.

The construction of the cable car and its launch in 2006 renewed the operation of the most important tourist attraction in the region of Mala Fatra. At the same time, the uncontrolled movement of tourists outside the marked trails has been reduced, which has a beneficial effect on rare plants and animals, as we are located in the territory of the Malá Fatra National Park.

The Panorama Restaurant with a viewing terrace is located in the upper station of the cable car. A cup of coffee or your favourite steamed bun with an unmistakable view of the Malá Fatra ridge sounds nice, what do you say?

If you are interested in a mass export outside the operating hours, we offer you the possibility of an EXTRAORDINARY EXPORT by cable car. For more info, please contact us by e-mail: infocentrum@vratna.sk.
