Dear ski mountaineers!
Please remember that you are guests of the resort and that the ski slopes are governed by the operating rules, which must be observed. IMPORTANT NOTICE:
From 4 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. the Slopes are CLOSED!
It is forbidden to enter the ski slopes, there is a risk of injury from the cables of snow guns and from machines grooming the slopes, especially winches with unwound ropes!
You are on your own responsibility on the ascent and descent trails. The slopes are primarily for users of the lifts and cable cars. In order to prevent collisions and injuries on the slopes, we ask you to familiarise yourself with the conditions for ski touring on the ski slopes and to observe the following recommendations in addition to the FIS rules:
- Always ascend by the edge of the slope, beyond the boundary of the slope marked by portable markings (poles, nets, fences, flags, etc.).
- Always ascend only along the designated ascent route, marked with blue and red portable field markers.
- Always move behind you, not next to you, when exiting.
- Pay increased attention to the movement of skiers on the slope.
- Also pay increased attention to terrain horizons and edges, narrow spots, steep slopes, icy slabs, slope crossings and other places where there is an increased risk of collision with skiers.
- Traverse the slope with sufficient spacing and only at marked points.
- Do not enter closed slopes or parts of slopes. Observe local signs and recommendations of lift and slope operators and ski service instructions (Fire Brigade, Mountain Service, etc.).
- Do not enter the slopes outside official opening hours!
- It is forbidden to walk your dog on the slopes!
- On ski mountaineering routes located in national parks or protected landscape areas, visitors are obliged to follow the visitor regulations of the area.
- Follow the White Code (rules for safety on the slope).
- Entrance to the ski mountaineering track is charged at 5 €/day (season pass holders have access to the ski mountaineering track included in the price of the ski pass). From the season 24/25 we also offer a ticket with parking for 10€.
- By entering the ski mountaineering restricted areas, the participant of the ski mountaineering ascent undertakes to comply with these rules and the instructions of the authorised staff. In the event of a violation of these rules, the authorized employee is entitled to instruct the participant and call on him to comply with them. In the event of a gross, persistent or repeated violation, the authorized employee is entitled to deny the participant access to the ski mountaineering restricted areas.
We wish you nice experiences and views in Vrátna.
