Near the Cottage Vrátna there is a symbolic cemetery. The cemetery was built by the Mountain Service. It was opened and consecrated in 1998 as the third cemetery in Slovakia, dedicated to the victims of accidents in the mountains. It takes about 10 minutes to get there. You can go there when you are on a walk in Vrátná or when you finish a trip from the Chata na Grúni or from the cable car. Every autumn, a holy mass is held here for the victims of the mountains.
Excellent coffee, kofola, draught beer and seasonal lemonades can be found in the Terrace Café at the valley station of the Chleb cable car.
