Take the cable car to the Snilovský saddle (1524 m). n. m.) (tickets for the cabin can be bought at the best price via our e-shop here) and from there follow the green trail for 20 min. to the Chalet pod Chlebom (1423 m. n. m.). From the cottage follow the blue trail and in about 50 min. you will arrive at the Mojžišovy springs (1140 m). n. m.). In another 50 min. you will reach the Šutov waterfall (770 m). n. m.). It is the largest waterfall in Mala Fatra, its height is 38 m and the highest water flow is in the spring months when the snow melts. The journey back will take you approximately 3 hours. Keep in mind that if you want to use the cable car to descend from Snilovský sedlo to Vrátná, you must be able to return before the last ride. Be sure to check the operating rules at the start of your tour. In case you do not plan to return the same way, we recommend to continue by bus or train to Strecno. There are still plenty of opportunities to round off the day in a pleasant way. If time permits, visit Strečno Castle, try rafting or cross the bridge over the Váh River to Nezbudská Lúčka and from there make the climb to Starhrad. To get back to Terchova as easily as possible, take the train or bus from Strečno to Žilina. From there it is just a bus directly to Terchova. When planning this tour, we recommend that you find out about all possible transport connections in advance.
