The 4-seater chairlift Paseky will take you to the top station at 1.000 m above sea level, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Malofatranský ridge, Tiesňavy, Terchová and the surrounding area.
One ride takes about 15-20 minutes in summer.
In the vicinity of the lower station in the summer there is an Activity Park with a restaurant Humno, open daily from 11:00 to 18:00. While you drink coffee or enjoy a good meal on the terrace, the children will have fun on the activities.
There are several interesting photo points around the upper station – a giant bench and two oversized swings. We are planning one more surprise in the near future.
In the summer, from Friday to Sunday, there is also the Cota Buffet in the upper station, where you can refresh yourself, relax or grab a bite to eat.
From the upper station, a nice easy walk suitable for small children will take you to the Chata na Grúni, where you can make a refreshment stop. Then it’s up to you whether you take the chairlift back to Paseky, or follow the yellow trail to Chata Vrátna (then walk back to the Paseky Starý dvor car park). Or will you try the more challenging ridge trail over the Noon Ridge to Chleb? From the Chata na Grúni, there is a renewed hiking trail up to Poludňový grúň and from there along the ridge up to Chleb to the cable car and take that down to the valley station. Sturdy hiking shoes are strongly recommended, however, and the trail is not suitable for very young children. Alternatively, walk from the Chata na Grúni to Štefanová. There are many possibilities.
