We recommend following the weather trend before you start your hike and plan your trip accordingly, packing the necessary (and spare) clothing and even sunscreen. After all, as they say, “there is no bad weather, only a badly dressed tourist” :).
We would like to inform visitors that the hiking trail between Chata Vrátna and Snilovské sedlo will be closed from Monday, October 19, 2026, until further notice.
The closure is due to essential tree felling in the cable car safety zone, carried out as part of mandatory safety measures to ensure the safe operation of the cable car.
For safety reasons, entry to the closed section of the trail is strictly prohibited.
We kindly ask all visitors to respect the closure.
