On Saturday – the 5th of July 2025 we will fully open the summer season in Vrátna in the locality of Paseky. There are activities for families with children from 11.00 to 16.00.
Children love treasure hunting, so the treasure hunt game with cryptic messages and a sweet reward at the end is again ready for the bright minds. Among the sports activities, you can also try bungee running using a special rope to test your strength and dynamics, and for the first time there will be air rifle shooting (don’t worry, it will be on a target) during the “opener”.
Have you tried the popular Cornhole game? It’s throwing a corn sack at a modified board and it doesn’t seem like it, but it’s really fun. There’s also inflatable horses to come, and while it doesn’t always look like riding a horse in real life, it’ll 100% put a smile on your face from ear to ear (adults included!). And as last year, there will be no shortage of funny stilt-walker-bubble makers.
Professional rescuers from the Mountain Rescue Service will also demonstrate their skills right in front of your eyes, you can ask any questions you are interested in. At the stand of the Malá Fatra National Park you will learn many interesting facts about life in the wild forest.
And the popular face painting will be provided by the clever Veronika from Farbičkov.
During this day and the whole summer you can try and have fun in the Activity Park on mountain tricycles, megatrampoline, tubing and bungee trampoline. Our photo points – giant swings and a maxi swing at an altitude of 1,000 m above sea level can be reached easily and with magazine-like views comfortably thanks to the 4-seater chairlift.
The HUMNO restaurant will offer a special CHILDREN’S MENU, no one will go hungry:)
New to the top station will be the Love Boat – be surprised. In short – love moves mountains. But we can already tell you that you can prepare a lock and key for the summer.
And on Saturday, we’ll also be introducing our lovely new stamp booklet for all the kids! Through it they will get to know four selected places in Vrátna better, at each place they will get a stamp for the correct answer and in the final they will get a nice gift for the collected stamps. The stamp game will last the whole summer.
Admission to Family Day is free, except for the aforementioned all-season activities at the Activity Park and chairlift. We have set the entrance fee to the Activity Park more than favourably for the summer (all-day entrance for 15€), we also have a combo package with a seat for a super price of 20€.
